- September 2009 - I know in these difficult times most Rep firms are shrinking in size, however effective immediately I am very pleased to announce the addition of Rex Patterson to the Conquest Technical Sales TEAM! This now brings the total number of field sales representatives covering So. California for Conquest up to EIGHT! Rex brings many years of sales experience selling into the OEM market in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. His past experience includes selling front panels, nameplates and overlays for several well know nameplate companies. For the last 10 years he has been working for Calmark Corporation both prior to and after the acquisition by Pentair Corporation. His focus has been primarily on the "Mil-Aero" account base as well as other accounts too. Rex will continue his role as the "Mil-Aero" account specialist at Conquest Technical Sales as he will put a focused effort on this channel for the Pentair offering as well as for all our other Principals too! Rex will have responsibility for most major contractors in the greater L.A. & Orange County areas such as Raytheon, Northrop-Grumman, Lockheed Martin, ITT, Eaton, Curtis-Wright, L-3, Boeing, ATK, etc. and will also be responsible for some of the smaller distributors that service the fore mentioned accounts. - August 2009 - Conquest is extremely excited to announce the addition of Pentair Corporation to our focused list of Principals! The Pentair offering includes the Schroff, Calmark & Birtcher brands of products as well as all of the Pentair electronic packaging solutions too. Pentair Electronic Packaging Group is the ultimate source for all your enclosure needs and packaging systems and is a is a leading global provider of standard and custom electronic enclosure solutions. Both Calmark and Birtcher design and manufacture COTS, rugged printed circuit board card guides, conduction cooled frames that are designed for circuit boards requiring cooling in severe environments, such as VME, CompactPCI ® , PMC applications and extractors for use in non-benign - airborne, shipborne, medical, mobile communications and rugged land-transportation - environments. The addition of Pentair will now give Conquest the "Complete Solution" for almost every customer from power supplies, fans, displays, filters to the various chassis and enclosures they will be packaged in. - July 2009 - Schaffner EMC Inc. is the latest principal to be added to the Conquest line card filling the need to offer various EMI/RFI filtering solutions to our customers. The Schaffner offering is very synergistic with the other Principals offered by Conquest and will be a perfect fit! Schaffner is a global leader and represents the highest quality products in the industry. Schaffner also has tremendous support resources as well as a resident applications engineer that supports the Southwest. Schaffner is widely distributed by Allied Electronics, Arrow, Digikey, Master Distributors, Mouser, Newark and Sager Electronics. The entire Conquest Team is very pleased to be representing Schaffner in the greater Orange County & L.A. markets north.
- June 2009 - Conquest has been selected by SunLED Corporation (based in Walnut CA) to be their exclusive Sales Representative Firm for all of So. California effective June 1st. Everyone at Conquest is extremely excited with the addition of this new line as the LED business is exploding! LED's are used just about everywhere and the various lighting applications seem to be endless. SunLED has a complete distribution line up which includes Projections Unlimited Inc. (PUI), Nedco, First Phase, Trinity Components and NAC. SunLED's management team is the best in the industry and their customer service is unsurpassed by anyone in the LED business!
- April 2009 - We are proud to announce the addition of Jaco Displays to the Conquest line card! In late 2008 Jaco sold their electronic components division to WPG distribution to focus 100% on their various "display solutions". In their effort to promote sales on displays and immediately get to market, they decided to utilize manufacturers representative firms throughout the country. I am pleased to announce that Conquest was the FIRST Rep firm in the country that Jaco chose for this new sales model. Conquest will be selling the complete line up of all display solutions that Jaco has to offer.
- December 2008 - Conquest announces the addition of Keith Kowasz as Sr. Sales Rep for the greater Ventura County area north to Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo. He also will have select accounts in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. Keith brings many years of experience in the electronics industry as his resume includes Motorola, contract manufacturing as well as electronic component representative firms. We welcome Keith to the Conquest "team" as our seventh field sales representative!
